Description:
A latching relay is a two-position electrically-actuated switch, unlike a conductor it has high
switch performance and also consumes less power. A series of smart latching relays are being
developed by AAT ( Advanced Amorphous Technology) for the smart meter industry. They need
to be energized only during the switching process.
